How do different sensory modalities, such as hearing, vision and touch, interact in the human brain? How changeable or plastic are these interactions across the lifespan? How are these interactions shaped by external factors in environment and internal factors such as attention? To address these questions, we use electroencephalography (EEG) and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to compare the cerebral organization of people who have different developmental experiences.
